They've headlined at many music festivals, supported Edwin Starr, booked to support Girls Aloud and have appeared on many TV and radio shows, including playing a live medley on national BBC1 with Atomic Kitten & Martine McCutcheon, as well as performing as resident band on the Ruth Langsford chat show for Granada TV. Guests who've joined them on stage include Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet and Lisa Stansfield/M People saxophonist Snake Davis. Their 2005 album 'Firing On All Cylinders' was voted album of the month when launched at Virgin Megastore and they've been voted 'Band of the Year' several times by South West music papers.

Featuring three high quality vocalists, a driving rhythm section and a kicking horn section that won't stay still for a second, it's a 'High Energy' style. Vocalist Jimmy Alderson is the consummate frontman too, an expert both at working the crowd and at audience interaction. It's a winning formula and it's why the band is in great demand.

"Encores were jaw dropping with totally unexpected showmanship and flair you rarely see these days. Its hard to believe that Joey the Lips have been going fifteen years because they're as fresh today as they were when I first heard them all those years ago. Go see them, you won't be disappointed".
