"Fast, fun and furious - we guarantee you won't be able to sit still! 10-piece Joey the Lips have previously opened for Will Young, performed for Eamonn Holmes & Ruth Langsford at their summer wedding as well as Formula 1 Grand Prix at Silverstone,  so don't miss your chance to see them at the The Tunnels for their Chrismas show. This band really do love what they do, their on-stage energy is infectious and creates a fantastic atmosphere! They play a diverse brand of music billed as 'Funky Soul, Blues &Disco Revue' which belies their Commitments style soul band roots. From Gimme Some Lovin' to Beyonce's Crazy In Love, from Long Train Running to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now, and their finale is a mad ten minute version of the B52's Love Shack with a heavy metal medleythrown in for good measure!

resident band on the Ruth Langsford chat show for Granada TV. Guests
who've joined them on stage include Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet and

'Firing On All Cylinders' was voted album of the month when launched
at Virgin Megastore and they've been voted 'Band of the Year' several
times by South West music papers.

Featuring three high quality vocalists, a driving rhythm section and a
kicking horn section that won't stay still for a second. Vocalist
Jimmy Alderson is the consummate frontman too, an expert both at
working the crowd and at audience interaction. It's a winning formula
and it's why the band is in great demand."

"Encores were jaw dropping with totally unexpected showmanship and
flair you rarely see these days. Its hard to believe that Joey the
Lips have been going seventeen years because they’re as fresh today as
they were when I first heard them all those years ago. Go see them,
you won’t be disappointed".
